Abstract

Genotypic and phenotypic data (results of deoxyribonucleic acid-ribosomal ribonucleic acid and deoxyribonucleic acid-deoxyribonucleic acid hybridizations, guanine-plus-cytosine content, comparative enzymology, type of ubiquinones, cellular fatty acid composition, growth, niches, and several other characteristics) showed that (Hugh 1981) is generically misnamed and should be transferred to (Hugh 1981) comb. nov.
