Abstract

SUMMARY: The original strain of Vibrio 01 (Happold&Key, 1932) appears to have been lost. The Bacterium 8250, which is frequently referred to as ‘Vibrio 01’, has different properties from those of the original isolate and is a Gramnegative non-motile oxidase-negative coccobacillus.
