Abstract

SUMMARY

Thin sections of were examined with the electron microscope. The organism showed a cell-wall profile characteristic of Gramnegative bacteria. A Gram-positive homofermentative sp. was included in the study for comparison. The results indicate that should not be included within the Lactobacillaceae.
