Abstract

SUMMARY: The % survivals of (B, Jepp, commune), (8) and (Hinshelwood), in the presence of polyethylene glycol were studied as a function of molecular weight and % polyethylene glycol. Polyethylene glycol is shown to cause a loss of viability; experiments are described which suggest loci for its action.
