Abstract

SUMMARY: A low-sporing isolate of was grown in submerged liquid culture in defined medium, and a hyphal wall fraction isolated by mechanical disruption. It contains about 20% protein, 40% bound hexoses, 10 % bound glucosamine, 10 % lipid and 5 % ash.
