Jodi Lindsay

Professor Jodi Lindsay is a Professor of Microbial Pathogenesis at St George’s, University of London. She edited the first book on Staphylococcal Genetics, was elected co-Chair of the Gordon Research Conference on Staphylococcal Diseases in 2011, and is currently elected Chair of the ESCMID study group on Staphylococci. Her research focuses on the genetics and evolution of bacteria that are increasingly virulent and resistant to antibiotics, particularly methicillin-resistant S. aureus. (MRSA).

Ed Feil

Professor Ed Feil is a professor at the University of Bath in the Milner Centre for Evolution, Department of Biology & Biochemistry. His research interests lie in using comparative genomics for molecular epidemiology, and for more fundamental evolutionary questions. He was awarded the Zoological Society of London Scientific Medal in 2010, and was an ISI highly cited researcher in 2015.

Gwen Knight

Dr Gwen Knight is an Assistant Professor based at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She currently holds an MRC Skills Development Fellowship to explore the dynamics of antimicrobial resistance using mathematical modelling.

Helen Lambert

Professor Helen Lambert is a Professor of Medical Anthropology at the University of Bristol. One of the areas she works on is anthropological and interdisciplinary research on antimicrobial resistance. In 2015, she was appointed Research Champion for AMR by the Economic and Social Research Council. She leads an interdisciplinary collaboration investigating pathways to antibiotic use in China.

Mark A Holmes

Dr Mark Holmes is a Reader in Microbial Genomics & Veterinary Science; and Director of Studies in Clinical Veterinary Medicine (Churchill College) at the University of Cambridge. He leads a research group whose current focus of research is on AMR. His lab was responsible for the discovery of a new livestock-associated MRSA harbouring a mecA homologue (now named mecC).
