RT Journal Article SR Electronic(1) A1 Montague, M. D. A1 Dawes, E. A.YR 1974 T1 The Survival of Peptococcus prévotii in Relation to the Adenylate Energy Charge JF Microbiology, VO 80 IS 1 SP 291 OP 299 DO https://doi.org/10.1099/00221287-80-1-291 PB Microbiology Society, SN 1465-2080, AB SUMMARY: Starvation of Peptoraccus prvotii caused extensive loss of RNA which produced a large flux of adenine nucleotides. The adenylate energy charge remained essentially constant the period of rapid decline of RNA but then fell when the residual RNA was being degraded more slowly. Loss of viability became more rapid when the adenquate energy charge fell below 0·4 to 0·5., UL https://www.microbiologyresearch.org/content/journal/micro/10.1099/00221287-80-1-291
