Abstract

SUMMARY: A method of synchronous mass production of yeast zygotes is described. A yield of 30 to 40 % zygotes with the period of formation restricted to 1 h was achieved. This result was obtained by determining optimal parameters for different steps of sexual fusion of haploid and cells in yeast.
