Amino Sugars in the Cell Walls of Pseudomonas Species Free

Abstract

SUMMARY: Fucosamine has been identified as a component of the walls of and , and quinovosamine as a component of the walls of and A third amino sugar, present in the walls of P. and possibly in those of , was apparently 3-amino-3,6-dideoxyglucose.
