The microorganisms produced a filamentous growth which is differentiated into a vegetative and an aerial mycelium. The new genus is characterized by the formation of a short and sparsely branched aerial mycelium bearing at the end of short sporophores chains of four spores. Sporulation is not observed to take place on the vegetative mycelium. The genus Microtetraspora is widely distributed in the soil and has been isolated from many samples.", }
