Abstract

SUMMARY: Fluorescent antisera to strains of small var. grown from sheep rumen contents appeared to react specifically with some of the large selenomonads seen in rumen contents. It seems probable, therefore, that the selenomonads isolated by the usual cultural methods are those seen in rumen contents.
