Generation of genetic recombinants in by spontaneous segregation of protoplast fusants Free

Abstract

Auxotrophic mutants were isolated in two strains of . Complementing auxotrophs were hybridized by protoplast fusion. Some of the fusants were apparently transient diploids and segregated to give recombinant marker combinations.
