Hydrazinolysis of the A2 substance yielded homoglucuronate with an estimated M r of 4800. The M r of polyglutamate previously prepared from the A2 substance by deglycosylation was estimated to be 14000. It is therefore suggested that the A2 substance is composed of the two polymers, polyglutamate and polyglucuronate, and the name ‘teichuronopeptide’ is proposed for this complex., UL https://www.microbiologyresearch.org/content/journal/micro/10.1099/00221287-135-2-265
