Abstract

SUMMARY: Long-chain fatty acid compositions were determined for strains of seven species of and their counterparts within the perfect genera: and and and and and and and and . Close correlations were found between the fatty acid compositions of these pairs of strains, indicating that the analysis of long-chain fatty acids may be useful for studying the relationships between the perfect and imperfect states of the genus .
