Chemotaxonomic Study of an Alkalophilic Bacterium, gen. nov., sp. nov Free

Abstract

Chemical studies were performed on a Gram-positive alkalophilic bacterium of uncertain taxonomic position. On the basis of the present and earlier studies it is suggested that the alkalophilic bacterium be classified in a new genus , as aurantiacum gen. nov., sp. nov.
