Abstract

A cytochemical and structural study of the cyst wall of has been carried out. Application of cytochemical methods for complex carbohydrates indicated that the mesocyst is rich in sulphated glycosaminoglycans. The endocyst and granular layer contained neutral and sulphated glycoproteins, respectively.
