Abstract

The amount of aflatoxin produced by and grown on various aged and non-aged seeds, kept at suitable conditions of temperature and moisture, is particularly related to the peroxide numbers of the seed oils. The addition of synthetic hydroperoxides to the cultures greatly increased aflatoxin production.
