Abstract

The growth of ATCC 607 with intermittent exposure to light for periods of 4 h d led to changes in the amounts of the lipid components compared with those present in cells grown in the dark. When grown in continuous light the changes were less marked. Pigmentation was absent in cells grown in the dark.
