Two Erythromycin-resistance Plasmids of Diverse Origin and Their Effect on Sporulation in Free

Abstract

A plasmid capable of producing phenotypic erythromycin resistance was compared with an Ery staphylococcal plasmid. The two plasmids did not interfere with the sporulation process in , in contrast to chromosomal erythromycin mutations.
