Abstract

Division of the nucleus and the cellular structure of bacteria may be correlated by using epifluorescent filter systems on acridine orange-stained material. The high resolution enables the spatial arrangement of double elements in the nucleus of to be visualized, after minimal handling, for comparison with information obtained by other methods.
