Abstract

is a prolific nosocomial pathogen renowned for its multidrug-resistant nature. We report a case of community-acquired meningitis due to . The case highlights the potential pathogenicity of this organism and raises concerns that this highly adaptable organism may soon evolve into a significant community pathogen, too.
