Corticosteroid therapy and diabetes mellitus were the predisposing factors. The patient was treated successfully with amikacin and piperacillin/tazobactam. The clinical isolate was identified as R. radiobacter by 16S rRNA gene sequencing. Phytopathogenicity tests and a PCR assay demonstrated that the organism was not a plant pathogen. %U https://www.microbiologyresearch.org/content/journal/jmm/10.1099/jmm.0.46411-0
