Abstract

Coryneform bacteria are usually considered as non-pathogenic when isolated from clinical specimens. We present a case of neurosurgical infection in an immunocompetent patient, and highlight the difficulty with identification and interpretation of antimicrobial susceptibility results for this unusual pathogen.
