Abstract

’ has been proposed as the name for a distinct and homogeneous genospecies associated with urogenital tract and neonatal-related infections. Reports of ‘’ isolation from adult men are rare and the disease potential in this population is unknown. We report six cases where ‘’ was isolated from the genito-urinary tract in males. The isolation of ‘’ during routine urine and urethral culture in adult men may aid in the determination of unresolved urethritis and possible urinary tract infections.
