It was found that inhibition occurred at a site corresponding to ubiquinone (coenzyme Q) or Co Q-cytochrome b; the 1-hydroxyphenazine might act as an “ electron shunt” by accepting electrons and transporting them to a “ dead end ”. %U https://www.microbiologyresearch.org/content/journal/jmm/10.1099/00222615-4-2-263
