THE PATHOGENIC EFFECTS OF IN IMMUNOSUPPRESSED ALBINO MICE Free

Abstract

SUMMARY

Of 30 prednisolone-treated mice challenged intravenously with , 12 developed skin lesions, primarily on the ears, from which the mycobacterium was isolated. These lesions were not observed in mice challenged with but not given prednisolone.

infection prolonged the life and reduced the frequency of intercurrent infection with in prednisolone-treated mice.
