Abstract

Summary

DNA-RNA hybridisation was attempted between strains of biotypes A and T of The results indicated that there was a low degree of genetic relationship between the representatives of the two types and suggested that the differences between the types were equivalent to those between different species in other bacterial genera. A high degree of nucleic acid homology was observed between two strains in biotype A.
