The size of the genome was found to be 32621 nucleotides. Twenty-eight putative ORFs were identified by their homology to other adenovirus or other virus and eukaryotic genes. Several special protein sequence motifs were identified by their homology to similar protein motifs. The putative promoter regions, polyadenylation and splice sites were predicted and the early and late transcription units were determined. Based on sequence analysis and RNA secondary structure prediction, sequences for virus-associated RNA could not be recognized. Phylogenetic analysis showed that PAdV-5 was more closely related to certain bovine adenoviruses than to other porcine adenoviruses.", }
