Abstract

SUMMARY

The complete nucleotide sequence of the haemagglutinin gene of influenza virus A/England/321/77, as determined from cloned DNA, is presented. The structure of the haemagglutinin protein encoded is compared to those of A/Victoria/75, A/Bangkok/79 and a previously published 1977 strain, A/Texas/77.
