Development of Early Nuclear Antigen in Cytomegalovirus Infected Cells in the Presence of RNA and Protein Synthesis Inhibitors Free

Abstract

SUMMARY

Human cytomegaloviruses (HCMV) induce nuclear antigens as early as 1 h after infection as detected by immunofluorescence. Early antigen development occurs in the presence of DNA, RNA, and protein synthesis inhibitors and is dependent on intact viral DNA in the inoculum.
