Taxonomic reassessment of the genus using whole genome sequencing: is a later heterotypic synonym of and description of sp. nov. Free

Abstract

The taxonomic status of all species was re-evaluated by comparative genomics based on whole genome sequencing. As a result, it is obvious that is a later heterotypic synonym of . In addition, genome-based analysis of strain CPO20170097, isolated from a patient in northern Denmark was allocated to the genus . This strain showed significant genotypic and phenotypic differences from and it is proposed that this strain represents a novel species of the genus, for which the name sp. nov. is proposed with the type strain CPO20170097 (=CCUG 73096=LMG 31042).
