Phylogenetic analysis based on 16S rRNA gene sequence indicated that strain NEAU-LLET belonged to the genus Microbacterium , with highest sequence similarity to Microbacterium pseudoresistens DSM 22185T (98.2 %). The predominant menaquinones were MK-13 and MK-14. The major polar lipids were diphosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylglycerol and a glycolipid. The major fatty acids were identified as anteiso-C15 : 0, iso-C16 : 0 and iso-C17 : 0. However, DNA–DNA relatedness and physiological and biochemical data showed that strain NEAU-LLET could be distinguished from its closest relative. Therefore, strain NEAU-LLET represents a novel species of the genus Microbacterium , for which the name Microbacteriumbovistercoris sp. nov is proposed, with NEAU-LLET (=CCTCC AA 2018025T=JCM 32662T) as the type strain. %U https://www.microbiologyresearch.org/content/journal/ijsem/10.1099/ijsem.0.003511
