Chemotaxonomic analysis revealed that strain Gsoil 098T possesses menaquinone MK-9(H4) and predominant fatty acids C16 : 0, 10-methyl C18 : 0 and C18 : 0. DNA–DNA hybridization results and physiological and biochemical tests clearly demonstrated that strain Gsoil 098T represents a distinct species. Based on these data, Gsoil 098T (=KCTC 19207T =JCM 14732T =GBS 39T) should be classified as the type strain of a novel Aeromicrobium species, for which the name Aeromicrobium ginsengisoli sp. nov. is proposed. %U https://www.microbiologyresearch.org/content/journal/ijsem/10.1099/ijs.0.64871-0
