On the basis of the chemotaxonomic and physiological properties found and the results of 16S ribosomal DNA sequence comparisons, it was evident that strain K718aT belongs to a new species in the genus Gordona. We propose that strain K718a should be the type strain of the new species Gordona hirsuta. ", }
