Abstract

Six strains of coryneform bacteria were isolated from blood samples obtained from healthy cows. Phenotypic and molecular genetic studies showed that these isolates represent a new species of the genus , for which the name is proposed. The type strain of is strain ST-50 (= NCFB 3024).
