Phylogenetic analysis revealed a close association between Dermabacter hominis and representatives of the lysine-containing genera Arthrobacter, Micrococcus, and Renibacterium. By contrast, the genus Brevibacterium formed a distinct line of descent within the high-guanine- plus-cytosine-containing actinomycetes, displaying no specific affinity with any other organism examined.", }
