Reclassification of the Causal Agents of Bacterial Blight and Bacterial Leaf Streak of Rice as Pathovars of (ex Ishiyama 1922) sp. nov., nom. rev. Free

Abstract

On the basis of phenotypic, genotypic, and chemotaxonomic data, (ex Ishiyama 1922) sp. nov., nom. rev. is proposed; this species comprises pv. (Ishiyama 1922) comb. nov. and pv. (Fang, Ren, Chen, Chu, Faan, and Wu 1957) comb. nov., the causal agents of bacterial blight and bacterial leaf streak of rice, respectively.
