Abstract

The classification of the causal organism of bacterial black spot of mango has long been an issue. A total of 15 strains, including the type strain, were subjected to 156 tests used for species identification of members of and The current classification of this organism as pv. (ISPP list, 1980) is confirmed, and the description is extended.
