Abstract

On the basis of a study of the biochemical, cultural, molecular genetic, morphological, nutritional, and physiological characters of the type strain (ATCC 14048) of (Payne et al.) Baumann et al., we support the proposal by Webb and Payne that this organism is a member of the genus
