Abstract

Abstract

Eighteen strains of bacteria assigned to the “ group were characterized. On the basis of phenotypic studies and deoxyribonucleic acid hybridization data, the strains could be accommodated in the two previously named species of the group, and Both species were shown to be closely related to and and more distantly related to the fluorescent species of the same genus.
