Further, a variety of serological procedures failed to identify these organisms with any of the wide range of members of the order Mycoplasmatales tested. These strains are described as belonging to a new species, for which we propose the name Mycoplasma canadense. Strain 275C, designated as the type strain, has been deposited in the National Collection of Type Cultures, Great Britain, under the number 10152.", }
