New Nomenclatural Combinations in the Phototrophic Sulfur Bacteria Free

Abstract

The following new combinations for names of species of phototrophic sulfur bacteria are proposed: (i) (Winogradsky) comb. nov., (ii) (Winogradsky) comb. nov., (iii) (Molisch) comb. nov., (iv) (Schmidle) comb. nov. Each of the two species of Nadson 1906 has an infrasubspecific designated: forma specialis and forma specialis . A revised description of each newly named organism is given. Neotype strains are designated.
