Abstract

The generic name Czurda and Maresch 1937 was not validly published because, when originally named and described, the genus did not contain a named species. The Judicial Commission validated the name as proposed by Czurda and Maresch and designated Shaposhnikov et al. 1960 to be the type species of the genus.
