Opinion 40: Rejection of the Names De Bord and De Bord and of the Specific Epithets and in De Bord and De Bord, Respectively Free

Abstract

The generic names De Bord 1939, 1942 and De Bord 1942 were placed on the list of rejected names. The specific epithets and in the names De Bord 1939, 1942 and De Bord 1942, respectively, were placed on the list of rejected epithets. The tribal name De Bord 1939, 1942 therefore has no standing in nomenclature because it is based on a rejected generic name.
